Accounts Receivable Administrator
Salary Range – $60,000-$70,000
Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Administrator is responsible for managing all accounts receivable
activities in alignment with established policies, procedures, and departmental objectives. This role
works closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial
data while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Problem solving mindset with the ability to resolve billing and payment issues
- Process and record manual deposits, electronic deposits, FIT withholdings, and bank fees
from clients. - Administer commissions and partner plan payments.
- Set up new client accounts in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Perform revenue recognition activities, including hourly, fixed fee, and recurring revenue
billing. - Manage billing adjustments such as change orders and project closures.
- Post project time from Jira into Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Assist with month-end close procedures.
- Monitor and manage collections to ensure timely payments.
- Process customer refunds and handle client cancellations.
- Reconcile and process transactions through Charles Schwab.
- Maintain accurate customer contact information, including email updates.
- Coordinate and host client “true-up” reviews/meetings.
- Serve as a backup to the Accounts Payable Manager when needed.
Education/Experience:
- AAS or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- 2-4 years of accounts receivable, accounting, or related financial experience.
- Experience using Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
