Salient’s open door policy goes far beyond senior management just being available in their offices. Both our CEO and CTO regularly stop by our desks to discuss projects and address any resource or workflow issues. Also, the regular company-wide town hall meetings help keep engineers in touch with the use cases for our solutions and ensures everyone stays on the same page.

Since the senior management takes the time to get to know each employee, they aren’t afraid to trust us with planning our own workflows, and advancement can happen rapidly. After only 4 months at Salient, I was offered the team lead position for my group and I’ve been given a lot of flexibility with developing new automations to make my team more efficient. We get constant feedback from across the organization so we can move from one item to the next with peace of mind.
