151: Basic Training on Authoring Dashboards

Learn how to create a set of corporate standard dashboards that make it easy to consume intelligence in any web browser. Consolidate information from across the enterprise to support many different roles and functions in an interactive dashboard portal. This course covers all the basics on drag & drop building. NO prior experience with HTML, javascript, query writing or IT required. “Knowledge-Workers” are encouraged to attend.

Objective:

Gain the competency required to create logical interactive dashboards to support end-users who need to a very easy way to consume information. The class will cover how to create, modify and publish interactive web-based dashboards.

Consolidated Dashboard of regional trends, top sales reps, top brands, outliers or lists of “non-buyers”, MTD & YTD for any measure and any segment.

Proficiency Testing: (performed at the end in the form of a re-cap / practice)

  • Ability to create your own dashboard utilizing at least two widgets (charts)
  • Ability to open and modify a saved dashboard

Duration: 8 Hours onsite or remote
