Purpose:

To positively impact the financial performance of the prospect/client organization.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidate must be fully conversant with managerial accounting, performance management concepts, techniques and theory such as ABM, process score carding, etc.

As well as:
  • Serve as a primary resource for prospect and client needs discovery, demonstration and advice on the use of Salient’s performance solutions.
  • Lead exercises to help clients’ senior management diagnose organization structural and process impediments to optimized performance.
  • Edit or supervise editing of engagement documents.
  • Direct solution architects, application consultants, trainers and others as necessary in the formulation and delivery of customized performance solutions.
  • Maintain continuing strategic client relationships.
  • Work closely with sales throughout the sales and client lifecycle.
  • Carry out other duties as necessary to perform function and as assigned.


Complexity of Work & Decision-Making: High


Measures of Performance: Revenue directly related to consulting efforts, i.e., new sales or expansion of capability in existing clients due to consulting services.


Qualifications:


The requirements listed below are likely pre-requisites for this position:


Education:

High level degree in management science or related field.


Experience:

2+ years general consulting and / or senior management with P&L responsibility.


Required Skills or Knowledge:

Strong performance and facilitative skills. Must understand and persuasively communicate Salient’s management concepts to C-Level Executives.


Functional/Technical Competencies :

High competency with typical "Office" products.


Language Skills:

English, multi-lingual is a plus.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, follow directions, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.


Physical Demands:

Able to travel extensively, up to 75%.


Other

Able to work effectively from multiple locations: client site, home or regional office, on the road.
